Nikita Neogy is an exceptionally talented young artist whose work reflects remarkable depth, sensitivity, and technical precision beyond her years. Born in New Zealand and raised in Dubai, Nikita is currently a Grade 10 student at the Universal American School, where she balances academic excellence with an unwavering dedication to her artistic journey.
Her passion for art began at a very young age through sketching, with a particular focus on portraiture. Fascinated by the emotion conveyed through the human gaze, Nikita developed a distinctive ability to capture expression and identity through realism. The COVID-19 pandemic marked a pivotal turning point in her growth, allowing her to immerse herself fully in refining her craft and deepening her understanding of artistic storytelling.
Specializing in realism and portrait art, Nikita views her work as an intimate dialogue with human identity and emotion. Her pieces reflect cultural narratives and personal stories inspired by her travels, diverse communities, and exposure to masterpieces in museums and galleries around the world. Constantly evolving, she has mastered multiple mediums and recently embraced oil painting, aspiring to one day merge her passion for art with design and architecture.
Despite her young age, Nikita has received numerous accolades and recognition for her artistic excellence. She was honored with the Internal Young Icon Award by Talent Record Book and was named “Realistic Artist of the Year” at a recent art event. Her achievements include winning the COP28 Sustainability Toyota Dream Car Art Contest (2023) and the National Student Art Competition – Voices of the UAE (2025). She also received the prestigious “Leonardo da Vinci” Award from her school, designed the school’s yearbook cover, and was featured in the Al Futtaim Foundation Momentum Magazine.
In addition to participating in several exhibitions, Nikita was uniquely invited as the only student Guest Artist at Brighton College Al Ain’s Annual Art Exhibition — a testament to her growing reputation within the art community.
As a member artist of Funun Arts Group, Nikita represents the emerging generation of creatives who combine discipline, authenticity, and vision. Her work continues to evolve as a powerful expression of emotion, culture, and storytelling
