Bringing together 45 artists representing 12 nationalities and showcasing 15 immersive cultural experiences, the festival stood as a monumental celebration of unity, creativity, and global collaboration.
In a historic achievement, the festival also set a world record under The Talent Record Book, further cementing the UAE’s position as a visionary global hub for art and culture. This extraordinary milestone reflected not only the scale and ambition of the festival but also the unwavering spirit of togetherness embodied in its theme, “Hand in Hand.”
Drawing artists, educators, students, diplomats, cultural leaders, and art enthusiasts from across the nation, the festival spotlighted the transformative power of art through exhibitions, masterclasses, community outreach, artistic exchange, and cultural performances. Guided by the theme “Hand in Hand,” the festival celebrated togetherness, creativity, and collective human spirit—symbolic of the UAE’s vision for cultural harmony and innovation.
DAY 1 — Pre-Opening at Novotel Expo Sharjah: A Warm Beginning to a Grand Cultural Movement
The festival commenced with an intimate yet impactful pre-opening at Novotel Expo Sharjah, setting the tone for the week’s celebration of artistic excellence. Attended by artists, cultural patrons, and distinguished guests, the gathering offered a first glimpse into the main exhibition.
The showcased artworks spanned abstract expressionism, realism, calligraphy, sculpture, impressionism, and mixed media, highlighting the broad spectrum of creative voices participating in the festival. The pre-opening served as a meaningful networking platform that fostered dialogue between creators, collectors, and cultural leaders, underscoring the festival’s mission of bringing communities closer through the arts. Cultural performance by the students at Delhi Private School Sharjah added colors to the event.
DAY 2 — Mega Opening at Dubai International Art Centre (DIAC), Jumeirah
The heart of the festival unfolded at Dubai International Art Centre (DIAC), where the two-day mega opening welcomed artists and art lovers from across the UAE. The exhibition offered a visual journey through culture, identity, memory, and emotion—each artist contributing a unique narrative shaped by their heritage and lived experience.
A key highlight was the Souq Al Fan, a specially curated art market that showcased handcrafted artworks, prints, artisanal accessories, and cultural craft pieces. This interactive space allowed artists to engage directly with visitors, encouraging dialogue, appreciation, and sales.
This grand opening coincided with the celebration of the UAE’s 54th National Day – Eid El Etihad, filling the venue with patriotic fervor. The event beautifully aligned with the spirit of unity, progress, and multicultural inclusion that defines the UAE.
DAY 3 — CSR Initiative for Children of Determination: A Celebration of Inclusivity and Joy
One of the most heartfelt chapters of the festival was the CSR-driven art initiative dedicated to children of determination. Held in collaboration with educational and community partners, the session created a safe, nurturing, and joyful creative environment for children to explore colors, emotions, and imagination.
Guided by established artists and volunteers, the children participated in a collaborative workshop that encouraged artistic freedom and expression. The artworks created during this session were later displayed at the festival’s gala evening, symbolizing empowerment, inclusiveness, and the belief that creativity has no boundaries.
This initiative emphasized the festival’s core values—compassion, accessibility, and social responsibility—further strengthening its message that art belongs to everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability.
Masterclasses by Legendary Artists — A Rare Educational Opportunity. The festival’s academic and educational dimension was elevated by two exceptional masterclasses led by renowned Indian artists based in the UAE: by Atul Panase and Ram Awasthi— “Fusion of two medium, acrylic and Watercolor”
A master of lyrical abstraction, Atul Panase delivered an immersive experience where participants explored the deeper emotions behind colors, strokes, and composition. Through live demonstrations, discussions on color psychology, and practical exercises, he offered valuable insights into creating art that resonates emotionally.
Artist Ram Awasthi brought a meditative, spiritual approach to creativity. Participants learned how to weave intuition, symbolism, and mindfulness into artistic practice. His session highlighted the healing essence of painting and the discipline behind conceptual layering.
Both masterclasses attracted emerging artists, educators, and seasoned practitioners, enriching the festival’s educational offerings, and leaving participants with newfound inspiration and refined techniques.
DAY 4 & 5 — Liwa Art Retreat: A Transformational Journey into the Desert.
The festival’s most immersive experience unfolded in the serene dunes of Liwa at the renowned Liwa Art Hub. Participants embarked on a two-day creative retreat designed to reset the mind, rejuvenate the spirit, and inspire meaningful artistic expression.
Activities Included, Live Painting Sessions inspired by the vast desert landscape, Art Exchange Program encouraging cross-cultural dialogue and creative exchange, Art of Healing Workshops focusing on emotional wellness through expressive art, Sunrise Desert Walk, sketching the golden horizon at dawn, Majlis Talks on cultural identity, artistic innovation, and the future of creative industries, Wellness Sessions blending mindfulness, relaxation, and artistic focus
The retreat served as a sanctuary for artists to disconnect from daily pressures, engage with nature, and find creative clarity. The artworks and memories created here became one of the festival’s most cherished outcomes.
