About ASAS
The Annual Student Art Show (ASAS) is a flagship initiative of Funun Arts Group. They collaborate with Youth Creative Minds Hub. This event is dedicated to nurturing young artistic talent and fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and global connection.
Established in 2020, ASAS began as an intimate platform with just 125 student artists. Over five remarkable years, it has grown significantly. Now, it is a leading youth art platform in the region. It now engages over 1200 students from more than 60 nationalities. This transformation reflects the strength of its vision and its growing international reach.
ASAS is more than an exhibition—it is a comprehensive creative ecosystem where students learn, express, and evolve through art. The platform offers curated exhibitions, competitions, workshops, and masterclasses. It includes mentorship programs and youth-led discussions. These activities are supported by a dedicated network of 40+ mentors, 100+ volunteers, youth ambassadors, partner institutions, and participating schools.
In 2025, ASAS achieved a historic milestone by setting two world records. The first was for the Largest International Student Art Show. The second was for creating the Largest Themed Mural spanning 150 meters. These achievements reflect the scale, collaboration, and creative energy of young artists coming together from across cultures.
Since 2022, Khaleej Times and Young Times has been a key partner. They amplify the reach and impact of ASAS. The support of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority further strengthens its cultural significance within the UAE’s creative landscape.
ASAS is strongly committed to inclusivity. It welcomes participants across different age groups, nationalities, and abilities. ASAS provides dedicated opportunities for Students of Determination.
ASAS is expanding its global footprint. It remains committed to empowering the next generation of artists. ASAS encourages artists to become creative thinkers. It also supports them in becoming storytellers and cultural ambassadors. These artists will shape the future of art.
