Funun Arts Group, in partnership with Khaleej Times, successfully hosted the 3rd edition of SHEROES. This was a special event celebrating women. It focused on resilience, empowerment, and exclusivity. This inspiring gathering brought together artists, thought leaders, and changemakers. It highlighted the power of unity and support in driving progress.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of distinguished guests from Khaleej Times, including Mr. Saghir Ahmed Khan (CFO). Katie Allen is the Head of Advertising and Revenue. Charles Yardley is the CEO. Alia Zaghloul heads People and Culture. Harjyot Oberoi Bohra is the Head of Marketing. Other notable attendees included Mr. Ahmad Al Awadhi, Ayesha Sheikh, Kusum Dutta, Anjani Prakash Laitu, Peter Gressman, Wala Mohammad. Also there were Seham Elwazery, Shikha Aggarwal, Majida Nasreddin, and more.
Special Tribute to
Artists Dr. Poonam Chauhan and Stefania Pomillo from Funun Arts Group recreated a beautiful version of the SHEROES poster. They presented it as a gift to Khaleej Times.
A live art therapy session was held. Participants wrote inspirational quotes on small canvases. They exchanged these canvases with one another. This meaningful activity encouraged creativity, connection, and mutual inspiration among attendees.
One of the key highlights of this edition was the active participation of men. This reinforces the idea that gender equality benefits everyone. SHEROES is not just about empowering women—it is about creating a society where everyone contributes to equality and support.
