Global Online art Showcase: A Celebration of Global Floral Expressions & Natural Forms in Art

Nature has always been one of the greatest sources of artistic inspiration. Its colours, textures, seasons, and ever-changing landscapes have encouraged artists for centuries to observe, reflect, and create. This month, Art Continues celebrates that enduring relationship through our Global Online Art Showcase – “Nature in Bloom.”

Featuring 20 thoughtfully curated artworks by artists from different backgrounds and cultures, this virtual exhibition presents a beautiful collection inspired by the richness and diversity of the natural world. From blooming flowers and flourishing gardens to peaceful landscapes, vibrant wildlife, and abstract interpretations of growth and renewal, each artwork reflects a personal connection with nature and its remarkable ability to inspire creativity.

The showcase highlights how artists interpret the same theme in unique ways, using different styles, techniques, and mediums to express emotions, memories, and stories. Asiya Khanum is an educator and artist whose creative practice is inspired by nature, observation, and the expressive power of drawing. With a background in Fashion and Apparel Design from Bangalore, India, and extensive experience in education across Saudi Arabia and the UAE, she combines artistic passion with teaching excellence. Her artworks explore light, texture, and emotion through traditional media, reflecting the beauty found in everyday life. Alongside her teaching career, she actively supports school exhibitions, student art initiatives, and community creative projects. Through her work, Asiya encourages creativity, artistic confidence, and meaningful connections through the universal language of art.

Avigyan Bhattacharya is a young self-taught artist, I am dedicated to pursuing my passion for art and exploring creative expression through vibrant colors and imaginative compositions. My artistic journey has led me to participate in prestigious exhibitions and competitions alongside renowned artists. My work has received recognition from world record organizations and has been featured in various art publications and books. For me, art is more than a hobby it is a powerful way to transform chaos into beauty and meaning. Through every creation, I seek to inspire, connect, and share my unique perspective, inviting viewers into my colorful and ever-evolving artistic world.

Aynur Shahbalayeva is an Azerbaijani artist whose work is guided by intuition, emotion, and a deep sensitivity to color. After drawing throughout her childhood, she returned to painting and has dedicated the past two years to developing her artistic practice while studying art history. With a professional background in procurement, she brings discipline and precision to her creative process, balancing structure with imagination. Rather than focusing on a single genre, she explores diverse themes inspired by cultures, human experiences, and personal reflection. Her work has been exhibited at the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, celebrating art’s power to inspire connection, clarity, and understanding.

Dalia Ruibienė is a Lithuanian abstract artist based in Kaunas, Lithuania. A graduate of the Kaunas Stepas Žukas Art Technical School, she draws inspiration from her travels across Great Britain, Italy, and the natural world. Her vibrant abstract and geometric compositions blend imagination with reality, exploring symbolism, emotion, and the elements of nature, including wind, water, and fire. Through expressive lines, dynamic forms, and rich color palettes, Ruibienė creates distinctive visual narratives that invite personal interpretation. Diana Maldeikytė Behm is a Lithuanian painter who lives and works near Švėkšna in the Šilutė district. A graduate of the Klaipėda Conservatory’s Faculty of Theatre Arts, she creates enchanting paintings inspired by storytelling, theater, and imagination. Her compositions feature angels, children, animals, and symbolic characters, inviting viewers into dreamlike worlds filled with mystery, joy, and wonder. Using vibrant colors, stylized forms, and carefully balanced compositions, she celebrates the harmony between people and nature while emphasizing the enduring magic of fairy tales. Her works have been exhibited in international group exhibitions across Germany, England, and Italy.

Dr. Seema Upadhye is a Dubai-based multidisciplinary artist, author, singer, and science communicator. Since 2021, she has been creating vibrant acrylic paintings inspired by nature, spirituality, Indian culture, environmental themes, and abstract concepts. Her expressive works, recognized for their rich colors and compelling visual narratives, have been exhibited in galleries across Dubai. Drawing upon her scientific background, she thoughtfully integrates elements of science and nature into her artistic practice and has also designed numerous book covers. A published writer with over 100 articles and poems, Dr. Upadhye is an accomplished vocalist, performing ghazals, bhajans, geet, and original musical compositions.

Elena Karpenko is a painter based in Kaunas, Lithuania, whose work explores human existence, emotions, memory, and philosophical reflections on life. Although trained in psychology and psychotherapy, her passion for art led her back to painting during the COVID-19 pandemic. She studied realistic drawing through the online art school Matita and further developed her skills at the Kaunas Faculty of Arts and ARTYN Studio. Working primarily in painting and dot art, Karpenko creates symbolic, dreamlike worlds where color, figure, and time intertwine. Her expressive compositions invite viewers on an emotional journey through imagined realities, memory, and the inner landscape of the soul.

Gabrielė Kuizinaitė is an international contemporary visual artist, photographer, curator, and art critic based in Kaunas, Lithuania. She graduated from Vytautas Magnus University’s Institute of Arts in 2003 with a degree in Art Criticism and later earned a Master’s degree in Cultural Management from the Vilnius Academy of Arts (UNESCO Chair) in 2007. Since 2008, she has been a member of the Lithuanian Photographers Association and several international art organizations. She has organized over 200 exhibitions and authored more than 200 articles. Since 2019, she has actively exhibited her photographic artworks, participating in more than 100 international exhibitions across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Jūratė Bytautė is a Lithuanian artist whose creative style is shaped by two influential paths: the restoration of artworks and formal painting studies at the Kaunas Academy of Arts. Her background in restoration taught her to appreciate materials, history, and the passage of time, while painting opened new avenues for self-expression, color, and creative freedom. In her artistic practice, she seeks more than visual representation—she explores memory, heritage, and human connection. By incorporating materials with their own histories, Bytautė creates works that reflect both personal narratives and collective memory, inviting viewers to engage with the enduring echoes of the past.

Jurgita is an emerging artist from Kaunas, Lithuania, whose creative journey began after years of working in printing, publishing, advertising, and design. A graduate of Kaunas College, she discovered her artistic calling through liquid metal and epoxy resin techniques, completing specialized training in 2024. Her works blend abstract expression with natural materials, creating flowing metallic textures that evoke movement, depth, and organic beauty. In 2025, she presented her artworks at an exhibition in Rome and later participated in an Art Kaunas exhibition. She is currently studying Interior Design at the Kaunas School of Art and Design, further expanding her artistic vision.

Ramutė Paulikaitė is a Lithuanian abstract painter and experimental photographer based in Skuodas, Lithuania. A graduate of the Telšiai Faculty of the Lithuanian Academy of Arts and Šiauliai University, she combines artistic practice with a long career in art education. Since 2000, she has actively participated in international exhibitions and projects across Europe and Asia. Her work explores themes of nature, transformation, the universe, and the relationship between light and darkness. Through expressive abstract landscapes and experimental photography, she creates emotionally rich visual narratives characterized by dynamic compositions, vibrant color palettes, conceptual depth, and poetic interpretations of reality.

Sejal Shah, is a Chartered Accountant by profession and an artist by passion, she seamlessly combines analytical precision with creative expression. Her artistic journey began over a decade ago when she revived a long-forgotten hobby and discovered her potential as an artist. Known for creating meaningful and realistic artworks, she works across diverse mediums including oils, acrylics, charcoal, pencils, palette knives, and textured techniques. Inspired by nature, landscapes, portraits, and Indian folk art, her work celebrates beauty, culture, and emotion.
